Q. How do I turn the scale on and off?
A. To turn the scale on or off, simply press the "TARE ON/Off" soft button on the scale for 2 seconds.
Q. How do I clean scale?
A. The top surface of the scale is made from a single sheet of durable tempered glass so simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth to clean it. You may use normal glass cleaners or mild soap mixed with water to clean the surface when needed. Do not use vinegar or scouring pads on tempered glass. They are too abrasive and will scratch the surface.
Q. How long is the auto shutoff function and can you customize it?
A. The scale will auto shutoff after 1 minute (60 seconds) of inactivity. This model does not support customizing the duration of the auto shutoff function.
Q. Can you use the TARE function consecutively?
A. Yes, each time you TARE, the scale will zero out the weight.
Q. What type of batteries does this scale use?
A. The PRO8006 uses 2 AAA batteries.
Q. Can I use prep gloves and still press soft buttons?
A. Yes.
Q. What does O-LD on the display mean?
A. When you place an object over 11 lbs, the scale will display the "O-LD" alert which is short for "overload".

Q. Prior to first use, what do I need to do with the microfiber cloth that I received as a bonus?
A. To ensure the cloth is not shedding microfibers, simply wash it in hot water and let dry prior to first use.
